Goldring Academy of Social Science Offers Two Programs
Both provide hands-on research experience and tangible deliverables. Consider your goals and interests to choose the track that fits you best.

Introductory Program

Intensive Program
Conference Poster
What it is: At research conferences, scholars gather to share their work and discuss new findings. In this program, students create a conference poster summarizing a research question, methods, results, and key insights, which they present in order to gain experience communicating scientific ideas clearly.
Who it’s for: Students seeking an introduction to research methods and data interpretation, and who want to present a conference poster. Students must be ready for an intensive, hands-on research experience, but want to skip coding and intensive data analysis.
What you’ll get: One-on-one mentorship, weekly readings, lessons in scientific thinking and basic statistics, professional conference poster
Skills you’ll learn: Critical thinking, reading scientific papers, understanding data with guidance
Weekly commitment: 4-6 hours per week for the first 3 months and 2-4 hours per week thereafter
Total time: 6-7 months
Pricing Structure
The Academy’s programs are priced to reflect the time, expertise, and intensity of university-level mentorship:
The introductory program is equivalent to a 4 credit private university course, but here you are getting weekly guidance, 1-1 teaching, and a conference poster.
The intensive program is equivalent to multiple graduate-level courses, including research methods, coding, and data analysis, but here you also produce a publishable paper—all with personalized mentorship.
Students aren’t just taking a class—they’re learning directly from a PhD, producing tangible research, and building skills that set them apart.
If interested, please submit your details on the 'Get Started' page and I will follow up with pricing. Payment plans are available.
